As an avid player, I have found out a few important lessons while betting over the decades. It doesn’t matter if you like to play at the land based’ casinos or the many web casinos. Here are my golden codes of gaming, many of which can be thought of as common sense, but if followed they will assist you in going a long distance to leaving with a grin on your face.
Rule one: Go into a casino with a determined value that you are willing and are able to manage to spend – How much would it cost for a night out on food, cocktails, entrance charges and tips? This is a perfect number to use.
Rule 2: Don’t carry your debit card with you – or any other way of drawing cash out. Don’t worry about cash for the cab if you spend it all; most taxi operators, especially the cabs hailed through casinos, will drive you to your apartment and will be more than happy to wait for the cash when you get back.
Rule three: Stay to an upper limit. I always envision what I’d want to purchase if I profit. The previous time I was able to go, I decided I would really would like to purchase a new digital SLR camera which cost about $400, so that was my predetermined cutoff. As soon as I achieved this amount, I walked away. Just stop. Even if Mystic Megan herself approaches with you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and back off. Depart safe in the knowledge that you will be proceeding into the mall and acquiring a delightful new toy!
Rule four: Have a good time. When you are "buzzing" you will succeed. It’s a fact. I don’t know how, but it clearly is. Once it feels like a burden, or you are only gambling to acquire money you have lost, you will give up even more. When you are profiting, feeling a good time with your friends, or your significant other, you will profit more and more.
